Technology should give people their time back.

I co-founded OptimaAI in Regina, Saskatchewan because the small businesses I admired most were drowning in work that a computer should have been doing for them.

OptimaAI

Work smarter. Grow faster.

We bridge the gap between your goals and your capacity — designing custom solutions that free your team to focus on growth, relationships, and results.

What we build

Three things, done properly.

We work with small and mid-sized service businesses — healthcare, legal, trades, real estate, accounting, consulting — across Canada.

Process audit & automation

We map how work actually moves through your business, find the steps a human shouldn't be doing, and automate them.

Customer engagement tools

Chat, automated responses, and WhatsApp integration — so enquiries get answered whether or not someone is at a desk.

Records & reporting

Consolidating scattered data into one place, with dashboards that tell you what's actually happening in your business.

Why I do this

The same question, in a different room.

People are surprised that the author of a war memoir also runs an AI company. To me it's the same work. A family in Los Horcones and a two-person law office in Regina are both asking a version of the same question: how do I get enough breathing room to choose what happens next?

A library answers it in one place. A well-built automation answers it in another. I like being useful in both.

I'm an AI solutions consultant with a Master's in Administration and Project Management, and I co-founded OptimaAI with Chris Ugbomah, a business systems and functional analyst with a Master of Computer Science. We're Canadian-owned, based in Saskatchewan, and work remotely across the country.

Curious whether this applies to you?

If your team is spending its days on work that feels like it should be automatic, it probably should be.
